Nuclear Generator Transport


This is a 875,000 lb nuclear generator being transported to Utah for disposal. Origin - San Onofre Nuclear Station in Calif. It stopped here in Oceanside tonight to wait for traffic to die down and will continue its trip later tonight. This is a 5 pic panorama of this beast. There are 4 of these to be sent to Utah and it is said to take 3 weeks to make the slow trip. It took 5 shots put together in a panorama to get this all in.
